Jelena is passionate about helping organizations adapt to rapidly changing environments, by establishing outstanding leaders and impactful culture. She is a strategic thinker, ensuring that culture and talent strategies are aligned to enable clients’ aspirations. With more than 20 years of experience in mobile connectivity and services, Jelena has a broad profile, with a background in global talent management and operational leadership as a human resource officer.

Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, she was the group chief people officer and group talent management director at VEON, a publicly listed, multinational telecommunication services company based in the Netherlands. Before that, she was an SVP of global talent management at Telenor, an international provider of telco, data, and media communication services across the Nordics and Asia. Jelena successfully supported both organizations in their strategic transformational journeys, from telco to tech. She developed people strategy and leadership capabilities, establishing a strong generation of top leaders, their successors and building future-ready organizations in line with business priorities.

Jelena holds a MA degree in Psychology from the University of Belgrade.
