Chris Nicholson

Chris Nicholson partners with energy companies undergoing transformation, advising on long-term sustainable leadership. Based in London, he works across the value chain to support clients with the appointment and assessment of executives and board leaders.

Chris began his career working as a field engineer in the North  Sea,  West  Africa, Gulf  of  Mexico  and  Canada  with Geoservices. Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Chris spent a decade with a global executive search firm leading the energy practice across EMEA.

Chris has played a leading role in building progressive and future ordinated energy practices to support clients who are adapting to the most significant shift in the industry’s history. He passionately believes future-proofed organizations must attract diverse, disruptive and sector -agnostic leadership. He has worked extensively with private equity and infrastructure funds who are investing in the sector, helping to find investment professionals and leaders for portfolio companies at board and executive level.
