Abigail Skerrett

Abigail’s sector experience spans renewable energy, including wind, solar, biofuels, waste-to-energy, clean technology and recycling, upstream and downstream oil and gas, oilfield services, and EPC. She is passionate about the energy transition and the importance of appointing leaders with experience in low carbon who can complement the skills of an existing management team. Abigail has worked extensively with public companies and private equity funds.

Abigail has also worked for many start-up / early stage / growth energy transition focused business, who require a step-change in leadership to accelerate their growth. She is adept in all key functional disciplines across the energy sector, and has a track record working for private equity funds investing in the energy sector to find leaders for portfolio companies at the board and executive level. She works cross-border and is a highly collaborative member of RRA’s global Energy Practice.

Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Abigail spent 14 years at another large search firm in London, where she partnered with clients in the oil and gas, chemicals, oilfield services and equipment, and the engineering and construction and services sectors.
