Max von der Planitz identifies and places leaders in omni-channel retailers, e-commerce and consumer products companies. Based in Hamburg, Max helps clients build and maintain effective leadership teams to drive digital and cultural transformation and sustainability initiatives as a member of the Consumer Products & Services Practice at Russell Reynolds Associates. Max recruits leaders for a number of different roles, including marketing, sales, finance, operations and support functions.
Max is also a member of the Impact Sector at Russell Reynolds Associates and helps purpose-driven institutions to find passionate leaders. Max led corporate strategy and development at the Otto Group before joining Russell Reynolds Associates, with responsibilities including market intelligence, strategic financial planning and other strategic initiatives.
Prior to this, Max spent five years at McKinsey & Co. where he advised clients in retail and logistics.
