Claus Fischer

Claus Fischer focuses on senior executive searches for leading global retail and luxury clients throughout Europe. Based in Hamburg, Claus leads the Global Retail and Luxury Practice for Russell Reynolds Associates. He works with companies across industries, including marketing, sales, HR, strategy, operations and digital transformation.

Claus has led numerous searches for consumer goods, retail, hospitality and family-owned organizations. Recent assignments include recruiting an executive vice president for a global luxury goods company, two non-executive boards members for a premium international food retailer and CEOs for a European fast fashion and an omnichannel beauty retailer. He spent 15 years in international management positions in the food industry before joining Russell Reynolds, including brand manufacturers, private label producers and B2B food ingredient suppliers. He was also a member of the marketing & sales practice at McKinsey & Co., overseeing customer activation projects across industries.
