Susanne Suhonen

Susanne is a trusted advisor to senior executive and non-executive leadership teams for clients across geographies and sectors. Susanne Suhonen is a member of the firm’s global Board and CEO Advisory Partners group. She is a trusted advisor to senior executive and non-executive leadership teams for clients across geographies and sectors, leveraging more than 20 years of professional services and consulting experience to provide market-leading insights, assessments and talent development. Susanne specializes in building effective boards by focusing on board performance, culture and leadership succession, as well as board refreshment. She also has a particular focus on diversity and inclusion strategy assessment and formulation.  Susanne previously held roles of interim Head of Knowledge and was Global Knowledge Leader for the Industrial and Natural Resources Sector, based in London and Houston.

Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Susanne spent 15 years in London with McKinsey & Company, where she was a Senior Practice Manager for the Telecoms, Media and High Tech (TMT) sector. In this role, she focused on internal capability building, external reputation activities and advising clients on operations and technology matters. She began her career in business development and strategy in the Nordic telecommunications space.
