Sophia Nerell

Sophia Nerell acts as a trusted advisor to companies in the Industrial and Natural Resources Sector and the Technology Sector, providing invaluable executive search and leadership advice. Based in Stockholm, Sophia co-leads the Women in Leadership Initiative in Sweden for Russell Reynolds Associates. A renowned leader in executive search, Sophia helps firms hire CEOs, CFOs, CHROs, other corporate officers, and General Management roles.

Sophia joined Russell Reynolds Associates in 2012 after spending four years at Bain & Company, both in Chicago and Stockholm. There she advised executive management teams on company strategy, merger integration and organizational transformation. Earlier, she worked in private equity, at Procuritas Partners. She spent the first 12 years of her career at McDonald’s, both in line management and strategic roles, including the final six years as real estate manager, co-leading significant footprint expansion.
