Kate Nihill

Kate Nihill leads the EdTech Practice at Russell Reynolds Associates and is a core member of the Consumer Digital Media and Technology Practices. She works across the growth curve, with larger public and smaller venture capital and private equity portfolio companies; content, software and technology providers; publishers and digital media; continuous learning; K-12 schools, and higher education institutions.

Based in New York, Kate joined RRA from Sony Pictures Entertainment in Los Angeles, where she was a director of people and organization. In this role, Kate was chief of staff to the CHRO and worked closely with senior executives on organizational design, talent strategy, and diversity and inclusion. She also shepherded the studio’s Women’s Leadership Initiative.

Previously, Kate spent five years with The Tobin Project, a nonprofit social science research organization, where she was director of operations. She also worked with the Career & Professional Services Development Center at Harvard Business School.
